Switch up your Aperol Spritz by using gin instead of prosecco… the gin botanicals give a lovely fresh flavour, a perfect compliment to the bitter orange of the Aperol. If you like your cocktails a little sweeter throw in a splash of sugar syrup.
Mixologist Pro Tip – icing sugar also works well as it dissolves fast and adds instant sweetness!
Ingredients
50ml gin
20ml Aperol
Indian or Mediterranean Tonic
Orange slice to garnish
Method
1. A tall glass works great for this, fill with plenty of ice
2. Add Aperol and Gin…we like a small measure of Aperol with a double of gin!
3. Top up with tonic and add orange garnish
4. Enjoy!
