Our Lemon Gin pays tribute to the final resting place of William Webb Ellis, in the small town of Menton in the southern tip of France, where the prized ‘Menton’ lemon is grown.
The sub-tropical microclimate of this small town in the French Riviera is perfect for growing citron, which are hand picked at their perfect ripeness. Sweet, with an incredible zesty bite, they are a perfect combination with our Rugby Gin.
Developed in collaboration with the ‘Association pour la Promotion du Citron de Menton’, this refreshing citrus infused gin is a celebration of not just the history and heritage of Menton, but also the spirit of the game that Ellis embodied.
