What is Navy Strength Gin?
Navy Strength Gin is a type of gin that has a high alcohol content. In 18th Century Britain, the Royal Navy legislated that a certain quantity of gin had to be on board every vessel. Gin was thought to have medicinal properties.
Today, Navy Strength Gin is enjoyed by gin enthusiasts all over the world for its rich flavour and unique character.
Our Navy Strength is our fuller-bodied dry gin, at 57% ABV. The botanicals are identical to our 1823 Dry Gin but is stronger in both flavour and alcohol content.
It’s heightened elements and flavours make it the perfect gin for a Negroni Cocktail or any other gin based cocktail.
How did we win this award?
The Gin To My Tonic People’s Choice Awards are a new annual awards program that recognises the best gin brands in the UK and beyond, with the winners chosen by a public vote, which means that our award is a direct reflection of the preferences of gin lovers.
Having reach the final, with over 10,000 individual votes received, winning this award is a huge honour for us, and it is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. It also means that our gin is now more widely recognised, which will hopefully lead to increased brand awareness for our artisan distillery.
